It's kind of hard to make a movie about the Manson murders without Polanski, since, you know, it was his wife and child who got murdered. Also, happened way before his sexual assault.

I have mixed emotions on this. On the one hand - "dark humor about a touchy situation". On the other hand - Seriously guys, WTF, there isn't a good excuse for "It just made me think having sex with a 13 year old girl was okay cause... Well... ya know... My wife died"...
