Oh things would be so much different, In the UK & in India

People are rewriting history. Brits like Indians; not to mention curry. The "empire" saw India as a valuable colony that it wanted to keep. Some in charge of keeping the empire intact may have been racist. But history marginalized them. Brit led world with Emancipation Act.

India totally benefited from British rule. They were made a local power because of it.

And so do we.

Perhaps the British were here just for the picnic and doing some good samaritan work. Bless your conscience - so forgiving, so amnesiac!
