India had about 90 major famines over 2,500 years. One happened during the worst war in human history, during a time of major Indian population growth. it was a horrible, horrible event. I can’t imagine the suffering. Don’t put all of those terrible dead to work for racism.https://twitter.com/BalavanBhairava/status/1154808908638109696 …

There hasn't been a single noteworthy famine in India since 1943. NOT ONE despite no noticeable increase in food production. Not to mention Bengal has been a pathetic Communist bastion of India forever. Yet, no famine of the catastrophic kinds faced during the Raj.

False, cherry-picked data, once again. Fact: India had THREE famines in the 2000 years before the British occupation. India had horrific, man-made famines EVERY YEAR during the British occupation.https://twitter.com/StefanMolyneux/status/1154810186214887429 …

Rice stocks continued to leave India even as London was denying urgent requests from India’s viceroy for more than 1m tonnes of emergency wheat supplies in 1942-43. Churchill has been quoted as blaming the famine on the fact Indians were “breeding like rabbits” [1 of 2]

Still that makes 60-70 famines in 200 years of British Rule.. that means once in 3-4 years.. What does that say!!
