Stefan I think you need to investigate the various famines which took place in india under the british rule. I am not 100% certain of the details but I think the famines were entirely avoidable.

Good lord these people have millions of people sleeping on sidewalks...washing clothes in rivers while others defecate in it. And this anger and arrogance is laughable.

If you stays away from the sieges on the cities... And maybe had some 7 thieves vinegar or something like that. Then you'd probably be alright.

Sieges as in ancient battle sieges, probably not applicable to this example. Don't know, didn't read it. 😅

Societies for centuries have used various methods to store grain/cereals etc in order to avoid famine in lean times.

This is where you and I part ways. The famines in Cornwall and Wales, during the 1790s, as well as later in Ireland all occurred whilst substantial amounts of meat and grains were being exported. India is another matter; planting and harvest were neglected by rebellious Indians.

An intentional famine orchestrated by a colonial imperial regime by diverting crops away to feed white people in home territories is still genocide. U don't get to excuse it with straw man arguments like the inevitability of famine in pre modern eras.....
