    Stefan Molyneux Retweeted Pierre Fitter

In the middle of a terrible war, Churchill tried his best to get food to the region, which was ravaged by drought, but corrupt local Indian officials stole most of the aid. Or you can just keep blaming long-dead white people for everything.https://twitter.com/pierrefitter/status/1154064051980386304 …

3 million starved-to-death Bengalis in a single year might contest the idea of British Colonisation bring "relatively light". But you also probably believe Churchill was the best guy ever.

Churchill tried his best to keep food AWAY from the region. Australian grain ships were DIVERTED..and passed by a famine ravaged Bengal. Local river transport wre seized..which crippled th food supply. BUT enough ws sent to Punjab since most troops wre frm there. Educate yourself

Britain created more than its share of atrocities. But, I very much appreciate Stefan's adherence to fact, inconvenient or not. Britain was involved in multiple other mass starvations: Boer War, Irish potato famine, Post WWI blockade, Indian famine of 18th century.

Stefan said Churchill tried to alleviate the Bengal famine. If true, that is a positive side of Churchill, whatever else his faults. As far as historic crimes by Britain, I am not in the least a fan of Britain. They dragged us into two world wars they voluntarily prolonged.

Yeah. Guess with a quote like that, I'd like a bit of documentation showing that Churchill lifted heaven and earth to alleviate the Bengal famine.

Was that before or after taking all of the food out of the country? He didn't really care until it started affecting the British, these empire builders were pretty monstrous but to keep the "whiteman is wonderful" myth people try and rewrite history!

Without Churchill pushing for the war, there would not have been a second world war at all, so the true evil of WW2 was Churchill, married to a Rothschild and working for their agenda.

Arre Baba, Indian officials were trained by British, so they picked up their most dominant traits n become corrupt. Not their fault. Besides, it's not just food, British tried best to destroy indeginous trade n industry to replace with its industrial products, biggest crime.

In the middle of war - a white man’s war, generally referred to as the world war, Churchill was stealing the lives of severely oppressed Bengali people. To blame it on the dead brown Indians is as bad as praising a dead white man who was as bad as Hitler for the Brit colonies.
