    Nope. Skin color is based on genetics, character is learned. If character was caused by the same genes as skin color all whites would be the same, just like all blacks would. But since I know both saints and demons from both skin colors it isn't genetic.

        There's a long tradition in Sociology of studying personality as contextualized and affected by one's position in the social structure, aptly named the social structure and personality perspective. Inherited personality traits matter, but so do socialization, culture and context.
