You do know that the natives in North America practiced - cannibalism - slavery - genocide - infanticide And most likely wiped out the indigenous population they found when they first arrived. Stop listening to communist guilt trips and learn something.https://twitter.com/imkimaaron/status/1152414417943793664 …

Who came to American from England? Why did they come here? What was the first thing they did to the people who already lived there, after they helped these settlers survive the winter?

They also cast their elders out in the cold to freeze to death. That's why I refuse to buy into commie guilt trips -- a society which won't revere it's elders has no love of the past.

In their defense, there where many tribes with various cultural behaviours. And the frequency of such things may be connected to necessity, that if the tribe are short of food at the time. Similar things happen in the modern world when elderly in nursing homes are found starving.

My point remains: If they are going to reduce the complex history of the United States to "You killed our people & stole our land" then I'm going to reply with "You murdered babies and cast out your elderly." -- Two can play at this game.

My tribe (Osage) never fought whitey but killed any ‘skin that trespassed. Trail of Tears? We killed the Cherokee as they passed through on the way to Oklahoma. We did not do “peaceful savage.”

That is true. More so in the south parts and islands than in what is now The U.S. but there were some still. Without a doubt a lot of eastern tribes owned slaves. Western native tribes (like mine) were much more peaceful. Same as every other group of humans, some good some bad.

Based on anthro records NA natives were the 1st people on this continent. I agree that those practices are inhumane but their EU counterparts had practices you might call unsavory; incest, slavery, genocide, homosexuality. NA practices does not negate the thievery of their land.

Natives practiced human sacrifices further south in Mexico. That was the real problem reoccurring several times in their history, leading to cyclical collapses of their civillizations, although that is not well documented.

If prisoners of war are used for such things I can definitely see how that may have angered the neigbours. This is btw how the Aztecs met their end.

They didn’t have SJWs to show them better eating habits. I remember reading that the Navajo were universally detested because they ruthlessly clubbed their victims to death as they swept through in a great migration, stopped only by the arrival of the Europeans and their rifles.

People talk like native Americans were all one people living in harmony. Obviously they never read a history book. Picture Europe in the bloody middle ages with it's numerous countries and languages, now times that by 100. That was native America.
