It won't pass..lobby too powerful. Once an entity latches onto the teat of the taxpayer they will never let go.

Degrees have been bogus for years now, thanks to "social" promotion. A degree is vague, unscientific, anti-scientific. Where's the empirical verification that education has such a woody for? Let's see the criteria and the reasoning. Frauds.

If degrees do not lead to professions in the fields they teach, why are they accredited? It's the dumbest form of job training ever imagined.

Maybe the Government should stop handing out Student Loans like cookies, that's how this entire mess got started.

Yup. And stop giving government guaranteed loans. Universities take zero risk whatsoever as the money pours in and they make more and more money and make it more and more expensive. Let them exist on their own and compete, and let banks compete for loans...

Na, that makes to much sense :)

And take their endowments.
