Just so people are aware, we have been told that bitcoin is better than gold b/c only X number of coins will ever be mined. However, there has been talk of increasing that ceiling.

There is no way to increase BTC. 21 million (probably 5 million already not recoverable it will be soon enough). That’s all that will ever be.

That’s not increasing btc. It’s a valid point, crypto production is infinite. But anyone can build a search engine too. It doesn’t defeat btc (it could, but it has not).

Gold will always be back up money. But the will to control is too great and as long as low IQ rules we won't have a gold standard. Also we can't kart gold to space colonies and so crypto will be needed up there.

The Bitcoin you talked about back then is a very different beast to what the protocol hierarchs decided Bitcoin to be. Schiff is dead on the money with BTC. You are correct about BSV, though I'm not sure you're aware yet.
