When people begin an argument with a nasty insult, especially at one's intelligence, it is really not worth reading their opinion, in my experience. I don't know why people think it is okay to be so insulting because they have a different view point.

Hypothetically, what if a child is a run-away and is practically taking care of himself physically, financially etc.? Would this render him an adult and able to consent?

It does raise important questions over where the cutoff for consent is. Puberty? That's 16 for women, 18 for men. Brain development? That's around 25 for both genders. Hard to pick a specific time. For sex, between 16 to 18 makes sense to me.

Pedophilia has been part of every single EMPIRE since Babylon along with pederasty, temple prostitution, human trafficking and slavery. Sex is seen as JUST BIDNESS by the NEXT empire, the NWO, likewise.

Age of consent can't be a universal standard since everyone is unique. We should really be moving back to abstaining from Premarital sex but that is unlikely.

'Underage' is just big government arbitrarily putting red tape between entrepreneurs and customers. Why would you support that?

He was questioning what determines underage and when does a child becomes old enough to decide by himself, who sets these rules/guidelines/standard?
-
When they're both physically and mentally mature. The physical being extremely important to get past before one could even begin to judge the mental maturity. It's a question we all have a hard time answering. But we're in agreement that physical maturity is important.
