It's nice, but TBH it's mostly a PR stunt to get young people's votes before the elections. Why not just lower income tax for everyone or increase the non-taxable income limit, which is one of the lowest in Europe (~800$/year)? Why on my 26th birthday I get a tax as a gift? :P

Poland is doing that to prevent the "bleed" of their youth to countries like the UK and the US. They have been active participants in GWOT (dziękuję Polska!) and received plenty of aid doing so which helps assist this policy. Research a little bit more.
