Jeffrey Epstein supposedly managed billions of dollars - was he ever sued by outraged investors for damaging the value of their investments by engaging in criminal actions? If not, why not?

Has he ever filed a 13F???? Is required for "hedge fund" managers

That is a very good question and the DOJ should be investigating that aspect. If the HF was not registered it in my mind verifies that it was a blackmailing op. of highest proportions.

I read earlier today, though I forget the source, that there were only 13 American billionaires in 1982 when Epstein started his business demanding 1B minimum investments. His story makes no sense.

Here’s a passage suggesting Epstein’s billionaire clients would give him their “billion” and sign over power of attorney. Yes, those meek lil’ billionaires. Source: http://nymag.com/nymetro/news/people/n_7912/ … pic.twitter.com/iKyvsEUXG4

Funds like that do not just manage individuals money. There are other financial orgs, pensions, etc. government orgs like Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, Sallie Mae, HUD. Etc. Lots of money as a conduit to those including bond deals. Also Billionaire is a loose term. When first used?

The source defined it clearly. He was managing money for individuals, and the absolute rock bottom limit was 1B. See the additional link provided.

Perhaps. Probably not. But looks like conduit to hide the both sides of a transaction. No 13F so no long equites. No Billionaire hands over the keys. They want anonymity. Transactions likely have one+ state sides to them. i.e. Arms, foreign investments, NGO, Charity, bribes.

My impression is that Epstein was a highly protected, and leveraged, cut out; and that he was financed (by certain types of individuals and entities) in order to perform certain services which he already had a proclivity for.

I know a billionaire personally, and the 1 thing he makes clear to every hedge fund is “win or lose, I’m cashing out after 1 year.” Perhaps he’s unique in this way, but maybe it’s a common strategy? How many of Epstein’s “clients” ever pulled out, or increased their investment?
