And just like that, more smart m(e)n sign prenups.

Most prenups don't stand up in court. Fact.

See that’s a fair counter argument, but only in certain situations. For instance, it allows you to keep separate bank accounts that can’t be touched during divorce, but owned assets can be.

If him paying 10% puts you off marriage just wait until you see all the guy's losing their house, car, kids, paying 30% of their income as alimony and half of their pension.

As a woman I totally agree

There needs to be more women speaking up. Otherwise it would seem to be something they support. Existing laws destroyed the nuclear family

Why? 38 billion out of 180? Not bad. Especially since she supported him from day 1. That’s a good relationship with a fair ending.

Aren't you mr... the family unit is essential ? Single mothers arent good enough? This is why society is falling apart? Why would you encourage men to avoid marriage?
-
Society gave up and died sometime in the early 20thC. Albert Jay Nock's book "Our Enemy, the State" explains the situation very well. It is free for downlaod as a book or audio book at http://MIses.org . It is not long, the audio book is 3 or 4 hours. I reread it.
-
This is a response to me saying its not a good thing to tell me to avoid marrige?
-
You invoked the good of society as a reason, which is always true long term and is the best solution to many problems. But society is a secondary power right now. It will become and less less relevant until politics has run its course. Like in the USSR.
-
No. I reminded Stephan of things he has evoked. And asked if this new view replaces the old. You might have reacted to the word "society" but your understanding of how I used it was not correct.
-
I like that book. I hope u can read it sometime. It describes the motivations and default settings of the American Federal Government and its prime (ab)users.
-
If u want to try to predict the future, "Our Enemy, the State" supplies a major vector-- that the State will grow until its self-destructs.

How long was she married to him? 38billion in a divorce settlement is a sham and plain theft... unless she helped him build it!
