Come on guys. Thia is really disapointing. This post is stupid. If you walk, ride bike or bicycle, a backpack is the best alternative. Practical people dont care if it looks cool and most of these guys look definetely not as hipsters but regular Joes with a job.

For such an intelligent man you seem to say some pretty stupid things. I walk 2 miles to work. Am I supposed to carry all my things in grocery bag? Man purse? Push cart? A 1950s style brief case? This is the most efficient way of storing all of my things while keep my hands free.

How the hell else am I going to carry my work laptop, all my other work stuff, my collapsible 5.56 and level 2 medkit?

Poor fashion choices, perhaps, but these guys don't exactly look homeless.

I'm a US Navy Vet. I almost never leave the house with out my seabag. I'm no longer active duty, but I still use what is still useful. And heck, Seabags can hold ALOT of stuff.

literally the best way to keep my tools & recording equipment on me at all times. i'd rather have one slightly goofy-looking bag than have to carry 3 separate bags/cases.

It's because they buy pants that are too tight.. Voila !
