Stefan Molyneux Retweeted Joel B. Pollak

The Marshall plan is always quoted as the mysterious magical example where coercive socialist redistribution actually worked. It’s a myth. Japan and Germany flourished after the war because they have very high IQ populations, and embraced free markets.https://twitter.com/joelpollak/status/1145879113804201986 …

The Marshall plan kick-started the recovery not just in Germany but in all of Western Europe.

Yeah, where Europe recovered nicely. With the injection of billions in US dollars to prime the pump for 73 years. The Marshall Plan is like the US owning a gigantic boat. It's a hole in the water into which you pour money. Best two days? The day it started, and the day it ends.

German unions would argue they played a vital role in increasing wages and improving conditions. German workers have representatives on boards. Japanese companies very paternalistic toward its workers.
