  I personally think that there hasn't been some sort of violent reaction because WW1 AND WW2 are still rather recent catastrophes and people are trying to do everything to avoid another one. Even to the point of accepting being overrun by this migration.

  K-mating strategy came out of the ice and invented the modern world, then giving the tech to populations which were limited in size by not only war, but mostly by food supply and disease. The elimination of the latter two has caused the turd-world population explosion.
