Jews were placed in concentration camps for no reason other than their ethnicity. Those currently held in custody by ICE were placed in transit camps for breaking the law and attempting to enter the country illegally. The distinction is important.

Apparently, this so-called expert didn't read much history. The official name for that awful place was "Konzentrationslager Auschwitz". If the Nazis themselves called it a concentration camp, its disingenuous to try to pretend that's not a reasonable interpretation of the word.
