It's supposed to be funny to the Hispanic populace because of how over the top it is. Not sure it's meant to be taken seriously but I could definitely be wrong.
-
The child is taking it pretty freaking seriously
-
I mean of course. I'm speaking of all the other young parents who believe this to be 'hilarious'.
-
This.

The video is also outrage fuel made by the alleged gay uncle as a "joke". The kid will probably remember the skit forever. The things some people do for attention smh

I’m hispanic and it’s sad how common flip flops and belts are used to “discipline” children. It’s disgraceful
-
Yes but all the Hispanics I’ve met don’t use this method to feed their children

This is either a copycat, or the inspiration for, a similar video of a black father doing the same thing.

It's been remarked on before (in relation to a lot of the "hidden camera", so-called light entertainment TV shows for Hispanic audiences)... There is a rich sadistic streak running right through that culture. And the likes for that vid are disgraceful

I'm Spanish I'm a follower of Stephan. But I think he has a kind of grudge on Hispanics. I guess something cultural inherited from the "Anglocabrón" empire.

The first time I saw this video was a black family and the majority of them thought it was hilarious.
