It is probable that organisms can live for trillions of years if they are continuously regenerated. It is highly improbable that homo sapiens will be able to accomplish such sophisticated bioengineering. We need to develop Superintelligent A.I as soon as possible.

I disagree with your premise (that man should achieve immortality through AI/science). What would evil men do with immortality? Given the fallen nature of man, and the proclivities of same, it would be made available to few, and given to others in exchange for obedience.
