I blame the school system for brainwashing them and their parents for letting it happen and not do what they should do, kick them out of the house and let them find a job and become responsible adults. That kills the disease that is far left activism every time.

If nothing else helps, help your kid at finding a small cheap apartment somewhere and encourage them to move. My first one didn't even have a shower, that was a shared resource in the basement. No shared TV antenna, no cable, no broadbamd (didn't exist those days). It worked.
