War is good for ratings. It can also be used to distract people from domestic problems. Like when Clinton was going through impeachment and he decided to drop some bombs overseas.

In the current context, it’s with hope it would damage the current presidency. If a few soldiers get hurt, oh well as long as drumpf goes down.

Too simplistic, Stefan, War is very, very bad, of that there is no doubt, for the god-fearing and the godless alike. We must avoid war whenever we can. But sometimes war is inevitable because evil ideas on one side are hell-bent on the destruction of the other side, i.e. WWII.
