My first thought was that WAPO was being racist saying that if white people were not nice then black people would be violent. They're getting mad enough that those without a progressive lens to hand are struggling to understand them.

I sincerely doubt that.

Of course it's all about race. They have such a warped view of reality whereby almost every aspect of society and sociological phenomenon is interpreted through a postmodern/neomarxist lens. They are always on the lookout for an opportunity to demonstrate how woke they are.

We like our athletes (of all races and ethnicities) to not be murders. Go figure.

Obviously a double murder should just be excused, because, y'know, he's black. The racism of low expectations.
