He was the CaveChad, a prehistoric apex sexual predator, slaying beasts and bitches alike. Often seen roaming the plains on a lifted mammoth, drinking cheetah blood in a sleeveless pelt.

The Wealth and Power hypothesis makes sense. We’ve heard the stories of great conquerors fathering incredible numbers of children, like Ramesses or Khan. I think it’s likely that there were similar situations 8 kya.

Bottom line: All living known organisms have a mechansim given to ensure their propagation. We are no different, in such regard, than the simplest of organisms. We are pretty simple. And it is pretty sad, given we are sentient, have unserstanding, and free will.

Nature "loads the gun," environment "pulls the trigger." However, at the end of the day, we, as us (capable of sentience and free thought), hold the responsibilities and consequences of our actions.
