What do you think of "emotional intelligence" @StefanMolyneux?

EQ has very little statistical correlation with real-world outcomes.

When somebody lies to me about my iq, for fear I would be embarrassed, how tf does that help me in life? It's not like life is going to lower the difficulty setting. And it's a ready made excuses preventing me from failing enough to get good at something. And I waste time.

how is curiosity directly measured on these tests? Curiosity about what? Can I call someone who lacks curiosity about makeup application unintelligent? The problem with G is G is still not a direct measure of intelligence, and intelligence is pretty narrowly defined. -
G still isn’t broadly applied to Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, if it is at applied at all. This simply highlights the conflicting ideas of what intelligence is and what these tests are measuring.

It doesn't matter if you are tested or not. The test doesn't live life for you. However if you were to test successful people vs unsuccessful (meaning the extent they've reached individual goals) successful people tend to have higher IQs. What is so f'ing controversial about this

You’ll find a lot of people use the whole “high IQ only means you are good at IQ tests” argument because they don’t score very highly on IQ tests.

What does fixating on IQ stats do for anyone’s well being or betterment?

Exactly. It isn't inspiring. And anyway, hating other people feels forced. I do enjoy aspects of other cultures. There are some cultures I dislike. And some people I just think are animals and not worthy of hate. But there is only ONE group/race of people that I do *hate*.
