Precisely. Now that many public school systems teach a sanitized version of history, if any. I live near Detroit and the schools in the city are in terrible condition. They've merely become a place to house children why their parents are at work.

Horrible test scores and graduation rates yet the schools blame it all on the Charter schools which actually have far better system in place. I've heard multiple students say they wish vouchers were an option.

Very smart Cookie! We have two teens homeschooling after private and public school adventures. Private was better than Public by far, but Homeschooling is the best academically and their time isn’t wasted on propaganda. Good luck with your studies!
