To be honest, i sometimes fall asleep to this. Not because it's boring - I enjoy the content - but because listening to someone speak while i am tired helps me fall to sleep. I'd rather my favourite content creators than some lamestream outlet

The whole story seems to be riddled with inconsistencies. It's also a total guilt by association fallacy directed at Google/YouTube, presumably in an attempt to pressure them to censor independent content creators in favour of mainstream media outlets.

Never mind that the guy clearly suffers from some form of mental disability, and cannot even form his own beliefs without an outside force telling him what to think, and he can change those beliefs on a whim if he simply watches different videos. Great source, NYT.

The bit that concerns me most is that the NYT retains some historical respect and people will not see their modern propagandist position for what it is. Whereas people are naturally sceptical of YouTubers. MSM like the NYT is the greater threat to honest social discourse imo.
