All they have to do is allow alternative sites to exist, instead of pushing banks, advertisers, ISPs to blacklist the sites. Imagine a startup news network having its bank accounts locked because it's an alternative to CNN or Fox, and being banned by all cable networks.

Corporations use this groups to get their agenda rolling. Last good example of it is the gaywonk maza that YT used as excuse to justify a roller coast of demonetization and delete videos from multiple content creators.
