My guess would be that liberals won the legal rule that businesses cannot pick and choose customers, so conservatives don't want to be the exception to that rule.
Not too long ago, “conservatives” were still hysterically condemning Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul for their opposition the Civil Rights Act. Now when it comes to tech companies, they have completely reversed that position on the right to equal access. Why do you think that is?

You have to liken these things to a year like 1787. If someone owns a theater and they allow people to come and go according to certain terms to give speeches- would they be allowed to ban someone from their theater, even if it were the only one in town? It's legally complicated
