I’m conflicted with that data. I tend to agree but then I think of the Maya, Aztecs, Inca and Egyptians. Those civilizations had deep intellectual accomplishments and where in calid/torrid regions. I think something more driving than climate is/was at play

Ah, yes, there is that. I was thinking of their architectural, civil engineering, cosmological and astronomical achievements. I agree, their theology was not on par with their temporal achievements.

For those of us who have lived in different climates, this is obvious. The existence of siestas should have solved the riddle.

Good predicter of cohesiveness of the family unit too. Warm weather breads dead beat dads.
