Takes me back to my college philosophy class where I argued that animals didn't have rights and cosmetic testing was bad because we should be using those animals to test medicines and other useful products instead. The poor little blond chica I was debating nearly passed out XD

Key thing I got out of the "debate" is observing that strategy of using self adjusting hypothetical that reduces to "Lets consider this scenario that I'm 100% right and you are 100% wrong" anything out of that conclusion is adjusted to get to that conclusion.
