In a very real way, philosophizing can be considered playing a game - or games- just as well. In fact, I believe plenty of philosophers opted out of the reality of their lives via philosophy; and then went on and fought (ego-)battles through the game of logic and language.

Gaming is seriously an addiction I used to game with ALL of my free time. Wasted all of my productive energy on pixels. In real life, I was failing at EVERYTHING. Haven't gamed in roughly a year and life is on easy mode. Way more successful Quit gaming = unlock your potential

It was completely ur fault, not gaming itself, sorry 🤷‍♂️cuz you let yourself luring by gaming.."I used to game with all of my free time", no one forced u to be all day playing and you caused an addiction, balance must be the key

Is there someone out there who finds balance with gaming? Absolutely. But most don't. Go ask any entrepreneur, writer, successful person how much they game. 99% don't. At all. There's a lesson there.

When I say balance I mean people who likes playing a pair of hours per day or once in a while, finding a moment of their time to play in my life I've known successful people who simply likes VG/geek culture, is that bad and destructive in this case?

IMO RRSS nowdays are far more addictive than videogame itself when it comes to addiction, its simple, social networks require less effort to use, therefore they're much easier to spend time with

Indeed, the problem is there's no real way to battle these monsters, as the entire system supports them. Video games are fun because they're mostly fair and logical. Real life is far from fair and the players, far from logical.

They took over a long time ago. They killed 3k Americans not long ago, took them to war for 20 years (again, and again) and the largely non-gaming generations took it all, straight up the ass. What was their source of distraction Stefan? The generation of blind hedonism is yours.
