My mom is white and my dad is dark skinned and Peruvian, but I was born and raised in Guatemala and now live in America. Trust me... race/culture mixing does NO ONE any good. Would be so much easier to be one race and culture. Mixing brings about many identity issues.

My girlfriend is mixed as well, and I told her already: when we have kids, they will be AMERICAN. Don’t care where I come from or what color we are, but we need to start unifying.

They have challenges yes, but mixed race kids also have a leg up in other areas. Look at India and The Philippines where acting and modelling jobs are often the domain of mixed children/adults.
