If someone is accused of being somewhere where a crime was committed and then it transpires through video evidence or witness testimony that categorically proved that they could not have committed the crime then you have proved that they are innocent.

The legal system is almost pure corruption if the authors of the system want you kidnapped and incarcerated, they will not care if you can prove anything.

No requirement to prove innocence. No guilt was proven. Because it was all fake.

You can prove innocence, for example if it is proven you were at another location when a wrong was inflicted, or if you had no ability to inflict the wrong for whatever reason, there are many ways to prove innocence.

When circular reasoning happens, you eliminate the redundancy, and assume the original position. If guilt is assumed then it must be applied to all. If innocence is assume it must be applied to all as well. Choose wisely...

Some lawyers are claiming that the presumption of innocence is only afforded to a defendant in a trial. President Trump was never officially charged with a crime and never officially became a defendant. Therefore the thinking goes he has no rights.

Too many people are willing to do that if they don't like the accused.

You can prove that someone is innocent of a crime in at least some cases, for instance if he was not present at the crime scene at the time of the crime itself.
