White Christians were the first group in the history of the world to figure out that slavery was immoral, and fought worldwide to end this universal scourge. Guess who is the only group now blamed for the historical worldwide practice of slavery? No good deed goes unpunished.

Nonsense. It was Enlightenment after Westphalia that made Europeans realize evils of slavery. And despite high language in Declaration of Independence, it took a Civil War in US to abolish Slavery. So go read history.

Don't think slavs anywhere liked being so.The elite always learn from each other, apparently more ill than good.The British took advantage of the industrial rev. but still practice slavery by proxy.Africans however don't focus on Arab/black slave trade.

I do agree however that white Christians have advocated for what has become better treatment of slaves and ultimately it's open disbandment. The African and Arabian slave lords haven't, neither had the peddlers of thr Arabic religion confessed their sins.

I’ll add an additional nitpic. There were plenty of black people in America, slaves were otherwise, who figured out that slavery was wrong. What is unique in American history is that the group that wasn’t enslaved, figured out that slavery was wrong, and even fought to end it

Typically an oppressed group has to win their own freedom. If they fail, they are either gonna be dead or more oppressed.

Usa has 25% of the worlds prisoners that are working for slave wages. We only have 5% of the worlds population but 70% of the worlds LAWYERS. $$$ it’s all about the money

Would that be the followers of the religion of peace ? They say that there are between 20 to 30 million sold into slavery each year . Many Middle Eastern countries are guilty of this inhuman practice as well as parts of Africa and Asia . Time to stamp it out .

It's called lying. Flipping the truth on it's head. Aka not true. Opposite of what is said. Meaning white christians have been a blessing to the world rather than a curse. Who would create such a reverse narrative ? If we could only identify a group who historically hates Christ?

Totally agree, It seems politically correct to demonise white people. Just step back and think of all the inventions and the ending of slavery. People forget that the moslems where attacking the west coasts of Europe and taking slaves. This was stopped by the British in 1816
