There is an expensive, fancy daycare near my home. Lots of little kids running around the outdoor play structure with employees sitting on a bench on their phones. It's depressing. I know someone who has a newborn in daycare. Their whole family is sick every other week.

Their quality of life appears to have precident over the quality of life of their children. What a horrible testament to our society.

I love this! Take good care of your children and they will take good care of you. This is the very best retirement plan. It has been growing on me that we need to cherish both our ancestors and our posterity if we ourselves wish to be cherished. That is good logic and good love.

My sweet mama, 89 years old, lives with us. She has the Master Suite because she is our beloved Matriarch and deserves the very best
We are so Blessed

Ahhh so precious to see this! God bless you!

Thank you. I've known since I was 5 that I would NEVER put my mom in a home even if we had to live in a box together. I feel incredibly Blessed to be able to have her here with us and I thank God every single day

kind of a silly and not very well thought out metaphor...

Spend the first 4 or 5 years with your child and they are going to be at minimum 1 year ahead, probably 2 from the majority of their drugged, ignored, and chronically I'll cohort. Its giving them easy mode for the rest of their life.

My mom was a stay at home mom. I take care of her now. She is not going into a nursing home. It is about giving back what was freely given.

Yes! And I am laughing at all these Lefties who are not marrying and not having children. In their little fantasy minds, they will be forever 29. They miss the simple truth that whatever time and energy you put into your children, comes back to you 100-fold.

You mention a statistic about leaving your child in daycare and how it simulated abandonment. Makes me want to be able to work from my phone any time of day.

My grandfather died in a 'retirement home' and I won't live that one down. He wasn't there long, and I never had a chance to visit him before he passed away. Barring medical problems beyond my control I would never do that to my parents. In Russia, the idea is non-existent.

The only way to live is to live in balance and indigenously with mother nature. That's the truth.pic.twitter.com/frW5rUYGms

I Agree but few working class families can live on one persons wage, the State wants both Men & Women working, Cant enslave society while the Women are free

Agreed. My grandma took care of her invalid bed bound in-laws for 10 years before they passed. Her kids dumped her in a nursing home for dementia for 12 years because she’d be inconvenient after they retired....

I stay home with my children, but I'd rather they put me in an old folks home. I don't want to be a burden on them.
