My mother wanted to work, making women dependent on men makes them vulnerable. Relationships can break down & bereavements also happen. Women need to be empowered with skills 4 the work place. Seeing mothers work has a positive impact on children....

why are so many women ashamed to be stay-at-home moms? it is a privileged luxury and social status that they should be proud of, and with the exception of those women that hire nannies even though they are fully supported and not employed, what job could be more important?

This is true
. When I think about it, as I have, it is my mother that told me all stories of my family background...even about...don't laugh, my father's side of the family. I do the same for my son. I ensure he knows both sides of heritage to the best of my ability. -
Fathers can do this too. In our house we share the parenting and the breadwinning. We are in the fortunate position we don't have a heap of rent to pay as well. In hard economic times, people are less able to makes choices like this.
