New moms have to dump their babies in daycare so they can go earn the money they’ll need to pay for their kids’ therapy and rehab later on.

Yeah because daycare is soooooo traumatizing. When I was a kid my parents would drop me off in the woods to live with wolves for days at a time. I turned out fine. It made me stronger.

Sadly it made you sarcastic and anti-rational.

New moms have to dump their babies in daycare because they have to return to work. It's really as simple as that.

Why do they have to return to work?

https://calbudgetcenter.org/resources/californians-parts-state-pay-can-afford-housing/ … Because two incomes are needed to avoid homelessness in some states. Where I live, a one-bedroom apartment costs $1,800/a month.

No one should live in such a place

I live here because I was born here and this is where my job is. I don’t think the states of California, New York, and New Jersey are going to empty out any time soon. But, believe me, the day after I retire will be my last day in L.A.

WOW that is cynical. But also very true. I cannot afford for my wife to not work. Neither can most people I know. Do you have a solution?

Well it's either that or as the really irresponsible Sociopaths do, have the kid about 9 month later and dump it in the trash or have a doctor or quack do it for them. RESPONSIBLE people know it's at least a 20 year commitment depending on the parental skills.

That's a nice premise for a fictional horror novel but has no actual grounding in reality, sir
