Atheists are ~700% more likely to favour big government (Democrat) over small government (conservative). Government rushes into fill the void left by God. Atheism is dangerous because Christianity is voluntary, but the government is NOT.

I think most atheists align themselves with Democrats because the Left is a vain and self-centered group of people. They appoint (and rather, annoint) themselves smarter than most. Christians, Catholics, and the Right are a charitable people, and self-less.

There are many exceptions, that didn't get polled. I am an atheist/agnostic... whatever any religious person would like to call it. However, I am an independent conservative.
I am one of the 1 out of 10 atheists who identify as conservative although I went over to the dark side for a while before recovering my sanity.
You can say I went over to the other side once, but pretty much because I was anti-Iraq War.

That's why even as an atheist I love that in America my rights are supposed to be God Given Rights. That means the government doesn't hold an authority over them and unless God himself comes down and takes them I am covered.

There used to be more atheist republicans, but then the Republican party formed a coalition with social conservatives (Reagan era). So it's not that athests are inherently Democrat, it's just that they are being made more unwelcome in the Republican party.
Lrft leaning libertarian who distrusts collected power corporate or government or religious. I'm not sure I've ever encountered someone else who rejects all 3. 2/3 yes. Not 3/3. Futurism and the possibly unlimited future much better hope/solution.
This isn't arguing against your point just saying it's rare. Is it related to being on the autism sprectum? I wonder. If there are more out there with my view who reject nihilism I've yet to encounter them. Love to hear from anyone who does reject all 3.
