If not paying taxes, how would you actually organise the society and keep running the things around you, and still enjoy the confortism we all have right now?
I think his main concern is the voluntary part. With enough social cohesion taxes should be paid [more] willingly. Also, taxes should be as local as possible, so federal taxes are more distasteful.
