    Stefan Molyneux Retweeted Bernie Sanders

Government salaries are not “paid” Bernie. They are extorted under threat of jail for non-payment of taxes. Ridiculous that a man running for office has no idea how government actually works.https://twitter.com/BernieSanders/status/1129791583220588546 …

Paying taxes is part of being a citizen of a nation. You don't like it go move into a shack in the woods with ted Kaczynski.

Most teachers wouldn’t work if they were paid what they are worth.

Also last I checked baseball players are paid for by the private sector. Perhaps he is suggesting we privatize the teachers ?

Or that it's "the nation" that pays baseball salaries. He's not really that ignorant but he's appealing to voters that are.

The elephant in the room is that he, like Kamala Harris, is treating teacher salaries as though they were a federal government matter. Get ready for legal legerdemain.

Socialists hate freedom! If ppl want to freely give more attention to one "shop" vs. another - it's not then up to some politician to exploit the situation by demanding a FORCED redistribution to the weaker shop. Maybe the weaker shop should just compete harder, smarter & better

The price-setting, free marketplace, where individuals get to CHOOSE w/out coercion, is a simple equation of Supply & Demand. The "hundreds of millions" paid to top athletes represents a very small number (supply) of highly accomplished & RARE performers who are in high demand.

For decades Ive seen teachers complain about pay, and we spend (are taxed) for education more than ever, but student performance has actually declined and they still complain. How will throwing even more $$ at education fix anything?

Given what teachers produce currently, they should earn less! Want a raise, keep your teacher union dues.
