We cldnt cross the border because a friend i was traveling with got a dui,her sister moved there and she has to come up with excuses for another 6 years as to why she cant visit(she didnt tell her family about her dui)

Had to do those too, along with proving that i can provide for myself and that was in the 90's

We had to do the exact same thing in the 1990s. In addition we had to be fingerprinted if we were adults.

Something Canada gets right, protects their medical system for their tax paying public and of course all those refugees they let in.

When I was younger I had ACD for minor offense. Supposedly expunged if not further offenses. Twenty years later canada almost denied entry.

A friend of mine wanted to travel to England to stay with an old pal that she had reconnected with on face book. Had all documents etc. Was turned back at the airport because she did not have a return airfare, and did not have a date when asked how long she intended to stay.
