Nah EQ is mostly garbage.
College admissions should be based on blind IQ tests - no age, gender or race. Only way to be fair. Also you should be allowed to submit an IQ test instead of a college degree, since IQ most accurately predicts success in a complex job - 80%.

There are two problems with this suggestion: 1-Most universities are dominated by people who believe education along makes you smarter. Not natural aptitude. 2-Which IQ test will be deemed as the official one? There are so many.

Ignorant take by a really smart guy. Look into how high IQ correlates with psychopathy. Just one example, but I could thread dozens of rebuttals. I won’t get into the last part of that, which says nothing of that 80% who actually have college degrees.
