It has to be done, no if ands or buts about it. Like a orientation class and maybe other classes like how to file taxes or grievances, so they don't fall back on false assumptions. Open communication isn't always welcome in societies with tribal elders.

apart from concerns about discrimination what if the jobs available in an advanced economy based on high finance and high tech are simply not a good suit for everyone esp for ppl who come from a severely under developed country?

No surprise. This is consistent with what we see with Somalis here in the U.S. from Maine to Minnesota: Low IQs and high welfare rates. The average IQ in Somalia is 70. That's the official line here in the U.S. in which psychologists consider someone 'Developmentally Disabled'.
