Sure, but all I'm seeing from this gen so far on that front is expansion of debt, more welfare, more social programs, and less reason to fight in foreign countries where we do so, anyway.

Times Horizon! Its a killer. The GG and still the "masses' today plan and consider consequences no more than a few weeks to a year or so ahead. You have policies being thrown around that have major implications decades out that get ignored. The impacts are non-trivial!

The "Greatest Generation" was not all there. About 400,000 died in the Democrat war, brothers, fathers, sons and husbands who could not take care of their families and affairs at home.

if you arent considering 2nd order effects at 10+ years out you shouldn't be voting. From that perspective most of the major policy decisions for the last 30 yrs are idiotic. Boomers didnt want ot acknowledge SS/markets as a ponzi. It always goes up 8% right???
