You can’t call them “rape victims“ until the cases have been proved. Of course women have to show evidence. Men can lie. Women are equal to men. Therefore women can lie too. Or don’t you want that kind of equality?https://twitter.com/Suffragentleman/status/1122845195966586880 …

Police must have access to all evidence that convicts/exonerates the accused. It’s that simple. pic.twitter.com/Au87B6hzzg

I am a false rape accusation survivor and THANK GOD I kept all the whatsapp messages and could show them to the police. If only I had open my microphone I could have sent the accuser to prison as a bonus.

If someone reported a burglary I think they would normally be referred to as a burglary victim even before the trial.

It's bad enough, that the "social media court" makes its judgment without any evidence at all, now the justice system is expected to adhere to the same SJW-"standard".

Mostly true, but in some circumstances it is clear a crime has been committed (e.g. statutory rape) it only remains to identify and prove the guilt of the perpetrator/s.

The police were told to assume all women claiming to have been raped, were speaking the truth, which is why they can be called victims. Rubbish really.

No. In fact, they don't. So having acknowledged the obvious, now what? They are overreaching because they know they can get away with it, and any opponents can be smeared as "rape apologists."

Mainly, the side calling for equality just wants the tables to be flipped. They don't actually want equality

If, for example, the 'alleged victim' had indeed been guilty to some extent and there is digital evidence then surely the accused can provide this evidence to support their not guilty plea 😕 This guideline is a warped infringement of data access requirements

Stefan, if your identity was stolen and you reported it, would you willingly give the police access to all of your personal information/communication? Would you be offended by the request, as it implies the police have a reason to mistrust you?
