I am saying the same thing for a long time.I got into arguments with people that I know and I even lost some friends over these idea. But if your choice is"Living la vida loca"without planning for your own future, why should other people kids would have to pay for your pension?!

There are people out there who don’t live ‘la vida loca,’ but just weren’t as attractive or fortunate as others. Not having kids doesn’t mean ‘party animal’ to me. To me it also means ‘screwed over.’ It also means ‘not taken seriously in the workplace.’

Of course that there are these kind of people as well as couples that just can't have children's because a medical condition. But I was talking about people that have high demands from the government, but they chose to have no savings, travel a lot and date people 20 years younger.

I agree. I have a decent full-time job again, but I was in the food lines last year rubbing elbows with junkies. I never thought that would happen to me, but it did. When a hole opens up under you like that, believe me - you’re not going to care who deserves it or not.

That assumes that having kids is somehow the default. It's not, and it should be viewed as such.

If you've paid into a pension of any kind, you're due the payments back out of it later, regardless of your other lifestyle choices.

Veterinarian appointments aren’t cheap. One of my St. Bernards needs a new $8500 shoulder.

To me, if you don’t have kids, I’m not sure why you have to pay taxes to schools, because if you decide to have children, you should have planned for their financial upbringing. And If I don’t get a pension, then I want to stop paying into that coffer as well.
