After a quick scroll through that thread, I support the choice of all those involved in their decision to not further their bloodlines. That brand of miserable self-indulgent narcissism would only produce another generation of broken, dependent, grievance studies majors.

Best decision I ever made was not to have kids. Second half of my life has been more fulfilled than it ever would have been if I had had kids. As I didn't have kids, I am far less wrinkled and in much better physical shape than most of my counterparts who did have kids.
