It's easier to deflect when you frame it as an attack on inanimate objects. Compare this to tweets about the attack in New Zealand. Muslims were attacked in New Zealand, buildings were attacked in Sri Lanka.

In NZ it was terrorism. In Sri Lanka its acts of violence against buildings. It's almost as if these politicians are working for the enemy
