I went to school in California. A teacher I had in high school had an out of state license plate for years. She couldn't even be bothered to update her car registration, let alone crack open a book that would challenge her preconceived notions. Lazy people love socialism.

If everyone in USA would pick up and read Paul Johnson's 'Modern Times' they may be made more aware of the barbarities of communism in the 20th century but 1/2 of USA ppl are functionally illiterate.

i was asked about what edition i was referring to. It was originally published in England as 'Modern Times: The World from the Twenties to the eighties'. Copyright 1983 and I have the first USA Edition right here in front of me
