Probably nothing... but April 15 is the anniversary of the Boston bombing and the 1986 bombing of Libya.
you guys saw this right? https://twitter.com/GabriellaR613/status/1117899507407056903 …
A church built by german immigrants in the early 1800s in Milwaukee caught fire and lost its' spire relatively recently, too. The loss of beauty is especially sad when no new beauty is being created
I think it's an insurance job. Artifacts removed a week before? Last visitor left and Cathedral closed a few minutes before the fire? French had almost run out of money to do full restoration? Too many coincidences I think.
Remy Macintosh building went up just after funding / restoration. Can be poor workman practises - art removed to stop theivery - systems turned off - picture it : copy of Le Monde with a Gitanes smouldering away on top.
Seen similar many times. Also they are asking for donations but it must have been insured? What about liability insurance from those renovating if it was an 'accident' linked to that, as they suggested almost immediately? It doesn't make sense.
Crazy huh?!?
I know, you would think they’d have more precautions? Even for accidents? But seems weird that even statues inside the churches have been vandalized in other cities in France and no news or consequences!?
They were doing renovation…. it could be as simple as a misuse of a fire torch during work…. who knows!
When I think renovation, I think paint thinner and other chemicals
It’s not crazy to suspect arson considering all the other churches that have been vandalized and set on fire in France
Has anyone seen Dan Brown?
